How do I sign up?

Signing up for a Princeton Hive account is quite easy. 

Step 1: Click on the Signup at the top of the page.
Step 2: A signup page will open up.
Step 3: Fill in your first name, last name, email id and set a password along with your regional details. 

Step 4: Once you are done filling up this, you will receive an email confirmation on your mail.
Step 5: Wait for 2-3 minutes. Check your mail for the confirmation mail. You will receive a mail. Open it and click on ‘Start learning’ option. You will land on the Bee-Studio. You will also receive a successful signup email.
Step 6: Congratulations, you have successfully signed up as a student! 

How do I log in?

You can login to your Princeton Hive account in 2 easy steps. 

Step 1: Click on the login/signup at the top of the page.
Step 2: A login page will open up. Put it in registered email id and password. Once logged in, you will land on the Bee-Studio (dashboard). 

What to do after logging in?

After logging in, land on the Bee-Studio (dashboard). The options are: 

Dashboard: Your one stop for your purchased courses and upcoming classes.
Analytics: This option will show the progress of your purchased AI-integrated courses.

Portfolio: This feature includes your AI-report submissions, AI-reports, your developing portfolio, Our digital store for you to purchase exciting items and promotional coupons.

 

From there, either click on the logo to come back on the home page. Look our wide variety of offerings from the ‘Learner’ option on the top or from ‘Students’, ‘Adults’ section down the page. 

 

Set up your Princeton Hive account

You can set up your Princeton Hive account from your Bee-Studio dashboard. 

After logging in, you will land into your Bee-Studio. Select the icon on top right. You will see the first option, ‘Profile’. Here, you can fill/edit all your personal as well as social information. 

How to I change my account settings?

Step 1: In the first section, ‘Profile’  

You can add your personal info like name, gender, contact, etc.

Once done, scroll to top of the page and save changes. You are all set now! 

How do I edit my Profile?

Reset your Princeton Hive password

Step 1:After logging in, you will land into your Bee-Studio dashboard. Select the icon on top right. You will see the first option, ‘Settings.  

Step 2: Type your current password and your new password then, retype your new password.

How do I reach the ‘Courses’ page?

You can reach the ‘Courses’ page in two ways. 

  1. From home page: You can find the ‘Learner’ option (For K12) on the top menu bar. 
  1. From Bee-Studio: Click on the Princeton Hive logo and land on home page. You can find the ‘Learner’ on the top menu bar or from ‘Students’, ‘Adults’ section down the page.
How can I go inside the the course landing page?

Click on the course card of any course you would like to see details of, and you will land on the course landing page. 

How to enroll in a course?

To enroll in a course: 

Step 1: Click on the course card any course/camp/workshop of your choice. You will find the ‘Enroll now’ option on the card as well has inside.
Step 2: If you are already signed up/logged in, you will land on the payment checkout page. If you are not, signup/login first.
Step 3: Complete the payment and start the course. You will receive a payment confirmation mail. 

You are now enrolled in your course! 

How do I watch the video lectures of my course?

After you enroll in a course, you can easily open the video lectures and play them.

Do I need specific devices to watch them?

Yes, we support all types of laptops, mobiles, tablets, etc. for both the mobile as well as web versions of Princeton Hive.

How can I change the video settings?

On the bottom rightmost part, you can change the video’s speed and quality. You can also readjust the screen to fullscreen and back.

How do I turn on the video subtitles?

On the bottom rightmost part, you can change the video’s subtitles, speed and quality. You can also readjust the screen to Fullscreen and back.

Can I download course videos?

This depends upon the course creator if they make their videos downloadable. If the video is downloadable, an icon will appear for the same.

How do I register for a course?

Step 1: Click on the course card any course/camp/workshop of your choice. You will find the ‘Enroll now’ option on the card as well has inside.

When should I register for a course?

When you find a course that best suits your interest, you can register by enrolling into it. To enroll in a course, click on the course of your choice. You will find the enroll option just below the about course Hive on the top.

I haven't received a confirmation email for my course registration. What should I do?

Once you register in a course, you will receive a welcome email for the course you have enrolled in. Kindly wait for 15 minutes if you haven’t received the confirmation email. Make sure to also check your spam folder.

How can I take a quiz?

You can take quizzes in any course you have enrolled in.

Are these quizzes available in my language?

As of now, we only support quizzes in English.

How will I know the results of a quiz I've taken?

Once you have answered all the questions from a quiz, your results will appear immediately after the last question.

Can I retake a quiz?

Once you complete a quiz, you will be given an option to retake it.

I couldn’t pass a quiz, What can I do now?

It depends on the course creator. They can give you an option to retake it after relearning that chapter.

How can I submit assignments?

You can submit assignments in the format requested by your course’s creator

What formats are supported?

You can upload assignments either from your device, Dropbox, OneDrive, Google drive or your cloud drive.

Are there any size restrictions for the uploading assignments?

The size restriction for uploading assignments is 100MB. Your course’ creators can also specify the same.

Are there any deadlines for assignment submission?

It depends upon the creator to set a deadline for the assignment submission.

My Hive instructor has sent a message after rejecting my assignment. Can I reply on that?

No, the message is a no reply mail.

Can I contact my instructor on discussion or community forums?

Yes, you can contact your instructor on discussion and community forums, and also respond to their posts.

What can I post on these platforms?

You can post your queries related to the chapter. Some course creators also use these platforms for letting learners post discuss questions related to specific lessons.

What is the basic difference between discussions and communities?

Discussions are limited to that specific course whereas communities can also include the following: learners who have only signed up but not purchased any courses, or students enrolled in more than one course, or students in a group.

My assignment has been rejected. What can I do now?

You will have to submit the assignment again and on approval you will be able to resume the course.

How do I know whether my assignment is approved or not?

Upon submission, you have to wait for the course creator to approve your assignment. Your assignment has been approved if you can move on to the next chapters and the status ‘under approval’ will change to ‘approved’. You may also receive a message from the course creator on your performance.

Does a refund have to be approved?

Yes, your refund will have to be approved first before being sanctioned.

If I ask a question related to my query, who can answer it?

Your question can be answered by either the course creator or your peer learner.

Why is my discussion post deleted?

The course creator sets a criterion for the topics to be discussed on the platform. If your post doesn’t fall within, the course creator might delete that.

What can I post on these platforms?

You can post your queries related to the chapter. Some creator also use these platforms for letting learners discuss the questions they post related to the lessons.

2)Your didn’t pass the criteria set by the creator for quizzes and exams.
3)You can contact your instructor.

How will I know if I have completed my course?

Upon completion, you will receive a popup of completion, the certificate bar will appear on left menu bar on course player and you will also receive a mail confirmation upon the course completion.
